The Dolphins
A poem about swimming with our most playful and curious marine friends
Lulled into the lull of deepness, blissful sleep;
At one with the Universe, where mind and soul meet;
Drifting, an oceanic paradise of inner peace;
Swimming with the Dolphins, in perfect ease.
Sensing intelligence ... will you stay a while?;
Mesmerising symphony of clicks, whistles, smiles;
Powerful momentum, in distances of miles;
Closest marine friends, self-aware, divine.
Fit and fibrous, streamlined blubber, lean;
Long, ballistic jumps, arching backs, top speed;
Delphinidae mammals, aquatic masters of the Sea;
Feel the joy, my imagination runs away with me.
Playfulness in friendship, a love for living life;
Bringing out my inner child, innocent and wild;
Feeling curious, creative, sociable and kind;
In the spirit of the Dolphins, masterful and wise.
