New Sturgeon Moon in Leo - Thursday 24 July (2025) by Sue Cartwright, Spiral Leaf

New Sturgeon Moon

In honour of antiquity, endangered indigenous species;

Nomadic survivor, caviar harvested from the deepest seas;

Rise on the eighth, through Lion's Gate, portal between worlds;

The Sun in Leo, Earth and Sirius align, waking energies unfurl.

New Sturgeon Moon

Embued in Native American culture for innumerable centuries;

This magnificent fish, symbol of endurance, strength, integrity:

Draw on its gentle nature, connect with your inky depths;

Find your inner place of peace, know bliss in every breath.

New Sturgeon Moon

A phase of plenty, leading up to the Harvest Moon;

Preserving food for Winter, on a sunny afternoon;

Now is time to savour, all things that bring you joy;

Warm skin, sunshine, laughter - freedom, freewill, choice.

New Sturgeon Moon

Look out for a silver slither, gleaming in the sky;

Minute to the eye, yet mighty in the cosmos way up high;

Listen to its message - stay true, stay well, stay strong;

For countless millennia, the Sturgeons sing this song.

New Sturgeon Moon

Sink into self-reflection, observe your inner Self;

Let your love and creativity, shine light into the world;

Feel the soulful vibes of this radiant New Moon;

Feel passion, feel abundance, for all is due to you.
