Beauty knows no bounds on the cusp of Summer;

Hay meadows and hedgerows, bursting, abundant;

Wild Strawberries flourish, first fruits of the season;

Gardens come to life, all rhyme and no reason.

Blackberry, Raspberry, Hot Moon - indigenously chosen;

For the short harvest window, gathering a tiny fruit;

Before the birds or bad weather take them all out.
