Breathing In
A poem about the healing and calming ebb and flow of the sea

Fall into the sea's hypnotic rhythm;
Ripples in the distance, mesmerising;
Gentle swells of waves rolling in;
Breathing deeply in and breathing out again.
The ocean spills into crescent moons;
On a smooth canvas of sand and shells;
Before pulling away with a gentle sigh,
Back into the sea again.
Feel the tonic of salty air within;
The vital energy of sea, air, light and wind;
At one with nature where it all begins and ends;
Breathing deeply in and breathing out again.
