Full Cold Moon in Cancer

Full Cold Moon in Cancer by Sue Cartwright, Spiral Leaf

The Full Cold Moon represents a cold and frosty time of year, inviting us to take a closer look at what lies beneath the seemingly hard and frozen surface. The nights are the longest of the year which present the opportunity to explore our inner shadows and the places within that often remain unexamined.

Full Cold Moon - friendship and reflection

The Cold Beaver Moon brings the energy and desire to connect with others while feeling comfortable and safe in our homes. Leading up to the end of the year, it represents the end of an annual cycle and the beginning of a brand new year.

The Full Moon heightens our emotions so that we can let the flood gates open while nurturing and nourishing ourselves in the warmth as the cold closes in outside.

For optimum benefit, harness powerful emotions such as love, ambition, desire and excitement. Use them to focus on manifestation and energise intentions towards future goals. Emotions are powerful. They allow for strong feelings to surface such as vulnerability. This helps us to connect with our inner selves and fuels our dreams.

New Cold Moon in Cancer - family and future dreams

The Full Cold Moon in Cancer is the last Full Moon of the year. It centres around a powerful water sign which is associated with feelings and the importance of home and family. This is a great time to practice our cooking skills with the earthy fruits and vegetables in season at this time of year.

It's the perfect time to work from home in the peace of familiar surroundings. Feel inspired to read, to learn and to spend time with children, relatives and family friends.

When we take advantage of the safe space to consider our roots, it can help us to feel more grounded in our lives.

Now is the time to think about and determine our desired direction in life and the dreams we want to bring into reality during the year ahead.
