Full Buck Moon in Capricorn by Sue Cartwright, Spiral Leaf

July's Full Moon comes early in the month and is known as the Buck Moon - a mark of respect for the appearance of the deer's antlers marking the beginning of the heady days of Summer with long bright days, balmy nights and the Sun positioned high in the sky. It's the perfect time to reflect on the beauty of our natural world, to connect with Nature and harmonise our inner being.

Full Buck Supermoon - focus on intentions

The Buck Moon is a name with Native American origins as it coincides with the time of year when male deer, or Bucks, start to grow their antlers. These antlers are a symbol of strength and growth, which is why the Buck Moon is often associated with renewal and rejuvenation.

The added energy of this beautiful supermoon with it's mighty Buck energy is supercharged to bring in the strength and fertility of this season of abundance. Tune into this energy to decide on your goals and intentions; now is not the time for procrastination and vague assumptions. Do your best to avoid distractions so that you can think about tasks you can let go of in order to prioritise and focus on accomplishing your bigger priorities.

Full Buck Moon in Capricorn - build up strength

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the planet that keeps everyone in check to enable direct routes to success. This full Buck Moon brings us the tenacity we need to learn and grow, no matter the hardship. It pays to put this energy to good use by using it to working on internal matters to address or offset the pain of growing a robust set of antlers that will serve us well for the coming year.

Being rested, recouperated and replenished within ourselves is the best work we can do this Summer. Take time out to enjoy Nature to absorb the Sun's healing energy and work on your inner self for the benefit of your whole being.

Thank you for sharing!

for you, for me and for Mother Nature
